7 tra i migliori studenti della laurea magistrale in Design per il Sistema Moda del Politecnico saranno a Londra il 25, 26 e 27 settembre, presso il London College of Fashion, per un hackaton sull’interazione tra moda e tecnologia con un focus del digital manufacturing, i tessuti smart e i wearable. Saranno chiamati a riflettere e confrontarsi sulle dinamiche legate all’ideazione, prototipazione e realizzazione di nuovi scenari d’uso e prodotti Fashion-Tech. Con degli interventi mirati ed eterogenei di professionisti del settore - Alexa Pollman, Massimo Bianchini, Fredrik Timour, Becky Stuart e Matthew Drinkwater - gli studenti impareranno a porsi le corrette domande per individuare i bisogni degli utenti e le esigenze del mercato, definiranno una lista di obiettivi tecnici, le fasi di test finalizzate alla realizzazione e gli aspetti di branding per lanciare i loro prodotti.
Il progetto Erasmus+ “Education4Fashion-Tech: Interdisciplinary Curriculum for Fashion in the Digital Era” è coordinato dall’University of Borås e vede come partner Politecnico di Milano e London College of Fashion. L’obiettivo, nei tre anni di progetto, è quello di arricchire il curriculum degli studenti con competenze e conoscenze legate ai tessuti intelligenti, i prodotti moda indossabili e fabbricati in ambienti virtuali. Il progetto vuole anche migliorare la qualità dell'esperienza di apprendimento sviluppando metodi e strumenti didattici innovativi insieme a risorse didattiche focalizzate a migliorare l’apprendimento in questo settore.
The 7 best students of the Master’s Degree in Design for the Fashion System of Politecnico di Milano will be in London on the 25th, 26th and 27th of September, at the London College of Fashion. LCF will host them for an hackaton on the interaction between fashion and technology with a focus on digital manufacturing, smart textiles and wearables. They will be asked to think about and discuss the dynamics related to concept, prototyping and implementation of new scenarios of use and Fashion-Tech products. With targeted and heterogeneous speech by industry professionals - Alexa Pollman, Massimo Bianchini, Fredrik Timour, Becky Stuart and Matthew Drinkwater - students will learn to ask the right questions to identify the needs of users and the needs of the market, will define a list of technical objectives, the stages of testing aimed at the production and the branding aspects to launch their products.
The Erasmus+ project “Education4Fashion-Tech: Interdisciplinary Curriculum for Fashion in the Digital Era” is coordinated by the University of Borås and sees as partners Politecnico di Milano and London College of Fashion.
